Come enjoy a day of FREE Dance Classes and discover what makes The Des Plaines Dance Academy the place to dance! A variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities are taught by members of our professional Dance Academy Staff. These classes will include
a variety of styles for dancers to experience.
Parents are encouraged to stay and observe the class to see what The Des Plaines Dance Academy has to offer. Parents and students have an opportunity to speak with the instructors after each session. Proper attire: Please wear a leotard and tights, or shorts and a tightly fitted tank top/T-shirt. Please tightly secure hair away from your face. Jewelry is not permitted in classDo not miss this great opportunity to experience the joy of dance.
Fall Fest, Des Plaines’ favorite family-friendly festival, is back for the fifteenth year, with food, music, fun, games, and dozens of activities. Lake Park, at 2200 Lee Street, will once again be transformed into a lakefront wonderland where kids of all ages can ride the giant Ferris wheel and climb the rock wall, experience the carnival rides or take it easy in the petting zoo, chow down on corn dogs and feast on funnel cakes, and enjoy a variety of family entertainers as well as great local and national touring bands.

Make a splash at our middle school pool parties! Bring your friends for a fun-filled Friday night at the Prairie Lakes Aquatic Center. Participants will enjoy pizza and soft drinks before

Join us on Wibit Night for an evening of water and inflatable fun with the wiggle track and rodeo splash. Tickets go on sale online or at the PLAC front desk the Monday prior
to each event.
Calling all pickleball enthusiasts, whether you’re a seasoned players or just starting out, get ready to show your skills. Tournament will take place indoor at Prairie Lakes Community Center courts, with a full day of competitive, fun pickleball action. Awards will be given to the top finishers in each division. One registration count as a team of 2! Ages 18+.
All participants will receive a t-shirt. Sizes should be entered at registration.*Participants must have their own paddle.

Kick off your Halloweekend with us at Trunk or Treat! Wear your costume and go “door-to-door” visiting all of our decorated trunks and collecting Halloween treats.
