Memorial Trees
Our Tree of Life program is a wonderful way for people, businesses, and organizations to commemorate an individual, group or special event by having a tree planted in one of the district’s many parks. This program enhances the environment, encourages community involvement, and beautifies our neighborhood parks.
Included with every tree is a golden leaf, inscribed with your personal message and permanently displayed on one of the striking Tree of Life sculptures in the Administrative & Leisure Center or Prairie Lakes Community Center.
The Tree of Life program fee is $300, which includes a 20-year tree replacement guarantee. A personalized cast-bronze plaque is available, for display at the base of your memorial tree, for $275.
The deadline to order for spring planting is April 1; fall planting is September 1.
Please Note: Central Park, Lake Park, and Prairie Lakes Park are our most popular locations for memorials. Tree planting and the placement of memorial benches is limited in these parks and we may not be able to accommodate your request. However, our program does include the adoption of an existing tree or bench. Those options are popular, and one may be suitable for your memorial.
