Des Plaines Garden Club Meeting

The Des Plaines Garden club will meet on Thursday, April 13 at 10:45am at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Hwy in Des Plaines. The business meeting starts at 11am. Bring a sandwich for lunch at noon; dessert and coffee will be provided. At 12:30, we’ll start our program “Secrets of Successful Container Gardening”. Members Harold Effinger and Karen Pacey will show us how to add that container WOW element to our gardens. Learn how to prepare and design beautiful containers for your patio and garden. After choosing the right container, learn how to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers for sun and shade.
