Des Plaines Garden Club – April Meeting

Growing Beautiful Roses Easily 

The Des Plaines Garden club will meet on April 14 at 10am at the Frisbie Senior Center.
52 E. Northwest Hwy in Des Plaines.
The business meeting starts at 10am, followed by our 11am program.  

The presenter is Kim Hartmann, a communication consultant, garden center manager and landscape designer for the past 35 years. Her presentation “Growing Beautiful Roses Easily” is about selecting, growing, and maintaining the hardiest, disease-resistant, pest-free variety of roses that are easily grown in our area. Heirloom favorites and new introductions will be shared. Roses can be one of the longest blooming woody shrubs, and are a great addition to any landscape.
