The Des Plaines Garden Club will meet on Thursday, October 9 at 9:30 at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E Northwest Hwy in Des Plaines.  Our program starts at 10am.  “Fall Gardening” will be presented by Amy Powers.  She will discuss whether we should clean it up or leave it until Spring.  Amy will share her knowledge about pruning, mulching, use of leaves, etc. The business meeting starts at 11am, followed by our raffle and snacks at noon.  Bring a sack lunch and your own coffee cup as dessert and coffee are provided.  For more information, check out our website:  www.desplainesilgardenclub.com  or visit us on Facebook:  Des Plaines, IL Garden Club.
