The Des Plaines Park District invites the community to a public forum to unveil the proposed renovation plans for Winnebago Park. The forum will take place on Thursday, August 22nd at 6:00 PM at the Administrative and Leisure Center (2222 Birch St.).
We are excited to share our vision for Winnebago Park, which aligns with our commitment to providing modern, accessible, and engaging recreational spaces for our residents. The Park District is seeking Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant funding from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) to cover half the cost of the playground renovation and expansion.
