The Game Zone is closed to the public March 23–March 27,
because it’s part of the Leisure Lizards Spring Break Program.

Please note:
Game Zone hours are subject to change to accommodate park district programming.
We will close at 4:00p (or any time after 4:00p), if no one is using the Game Zone.
Closed on all national holidays.
Closed during District 62 breaks; Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring, and  Summer
The last day for regular Game Zone hours is May 20, 2020.

Game Zone History

The facility originally opened as the Teen Center, for all Des Plaines teens of junior high and high school age. It was created as a joint venture of the Des Plaines Park District, City of Des Plaines, Des Plaines Youth Commission, and Des Plaines Community Foundation.
