Des Plaines Park District

Clinic Dates

Have you been playing soccer since you were a kid? Maybe you just started playing soccer and have created a passion for the game. As a soccer referee you can give back to your community and help share that passion for the game, while making some extra cash.  Soccer referees will have the opportunity to gain certification through clinics provided by the Illinois Soccer Referee Committee.

Once your certification is complete, you will have access to an assignor that will begin to schedule you for recreational soccer leagues, including the Des Plaines Park District Youth Recreational League, as well as youth travel games (U7- U14) throughout the northwest suburbs/Chicagoland area. Obtaining your certification shows your commitment to performing to the best of your ability as a referee, using the knowledge you have gained from your clinic and/or previous experience as a player or coach.

All registration for referee clinics can be done through the Illinois Soccer Referee Committee website.  Available referee clinic dates can be found here: ISRC website.

Should you have any questions, please contact Joshua Cantres, Athletic Supervisor, at jc@dpparks.org.
