Des Plaines History Center

The Park District is a major sponsor of the Des Plaines History Center, at 781 Pearson Street.

The History Center includes the Kinder House Museum and the Visitor/Education Center, where programs and special events are held for families, adults and children. Popular annual events include the Afternoon Adventures Series, Dia de los Muertos, the Coffee Talk lecture series, book discussions, trips, and walks.
