Sol Azteca Folkloric Ensemble. 7pm tonight at Lake Park.
Since is founding in 1991, the Sol Azteca Folkloric Ensemble has brought authentic Mexican dance to Chicagoland from their home at Saint Stephen Protomartyr in Des Plaines. Their inspirational messages are an integral part of the ministries for families and culture, promoting love and respect for others. The Ensemble also provides its members with a sense of identity as they discover the richness of their cultural roots. The colorful traditional costumes combined with the story-telling entwined in the dances creates an exciting and entertaining evening for all ages.
