Fall Program Registration

Priority registration for residents is open through August 22. Registration for everyone opens August 23. Sign up for your favorite fall classes. We have hundreds to choose from!

Fall program registration is open for residents of Des Plaines who live within the park district boundaries: 12:01a online, 5:30a at Prairie Lakes map, and 8:30a at the Leisure Center map.

Read the Spectrum Program & Events Guide, online and download a PDF, or pick up your copy at any park district facility. Copies are also available at the Des Plaines Public Library, the History Center, and City Hall.

For non-residents of Des Plaines, and Des Plaines residents who live outside of the park district boundaries, fall program registration opens on Monday, August 23: 12:01a online, 5:30a at Prairie Lakes, and 8:30a at the Leisure Center. Map of park district boundaries.

Registration for the 2021-2022 Creative Corners Preschool year, and for the Fall Soccer Leagues is already open for everyone.

Do you have your Household ID and PIN ready for online registration? You have one if you’ve ever registered for a park district program. If you need help, call 847-391-5700 or 847-391-5711, or email We will email your ID number to you. (Park district staff cannot access your personal information, and cannot tell you your ID number on the phone.)

Everyone living in the City of Des Plaines is eligible for resident ratesYou no longer have to reside within the boundaries of the Des Plaines Park District.  Map of park district boundaries.
Do you work in Des Plaines? You are also eligible for resident rates in all of our facilities and as a participant in any of our programs.

Non-residents: If you register for Creative Corners Preschool, our School of Dance program, fitness classes all year, a Prairie Lakes Fitness Center or Aquatic Center membership, you might benefit from purchasing an annual Resident Status Card. The card is $250, good for a full year from the date of purchase, and makes you eligible to pay resident rates for all programs, memberships and pool passes. Ask about it when you register.
