Boat Mooring and Launching Fees

Boating and golfing has been allowed in Phase 2 and will be increased to a foursome every 10 minutes and boating will increase from two to four in park district paddleboats. Clubhouse will remain closed, only used for bathrooms and concessions.

For those of you who have already paid your yearly fee, when you get to the marina, please call 847-391-5730 and give staff your name to check in.

Daily Launches are available. $10 residents • $20 non-residents.

Credit cards only. No cash transactions.


Boating season is April 1 to October 31.
Sailing is available to those owning a boat who are properly qualified. Privately owned boats must be registered. All boaters must sign in and out at the clubhouse.
Sailing is only permitted during hours when waterfront staff is on duty.

2020 Boating Fees Annual User Fee 
Includes use of Lake Opeka for the entire season, April–October.
Residents: $70 • Non-residents: $115

Daily Launch Fee
For users who prefer to pay to use Lake Opeka one day at a time. See the staff in the clubhouse.
Residents: $10 • Non-residents: $20

2020 Season Boat Moorings Fee
Includes a mooring slip at Lake Park for the entire season, April 1–October 31.
Residents: $235 • Non-residents: $385
All moorings are reserved on a first come, first served basis, and those with a mooring from the previous year have priority.
