Rules & Regulations

The Arndt Park Sled Hill is an unsupervised recreation area.

You assume the full risk and responsibility for determining that all conditions are safe for using

the hill for sledding, snowboarding, and similar activities. You further assume full risk and responsibility

for any injury resulting from using the sled hill, or from being on or around the sled hill. 

After dusk, when the lights are on, the sled hill closes at 10:00pm.

After dusk, if the lights are not on, the sled hill is closed.

Sledding, snowboarding, and similar activities are only permitted within the fenced area.

PARK DISTRICT ICE SKATING AREAS

Rules & Regulations

The Park District provides unsupervised ice skating areas only in these parks:

Bluett Park, 1408 Thayer Street  map

Cornell Park, Stratford and States Streets  map

Lake Park Golf Course & Marina, 1015 Howard Ave.  map

West Park, 651 S. Wolf Road  map 

You assume the full risk and responsibility for determining that all conditions are safe for skating,

ice hockey, and similar activities, and you further assume all risk and responsibility for any injury

resulting from using any unsupervised ice skating areas.
